<Bilingual children and Points of You>

"I got bored mammy.."
On the 3rd day of no-school, finally my daughter started groaning. I picked "Points of You" to play with her.

Spread the cards facing up.
The theme:[The thing I want at the moment]
She was really into all the images.

"I think this is it.." ( picture below )

We talked about what she sees in the picture, as well as beyond the picture.
The feeling she would get when she were in there and so on.

I'd been long thinking about the learning expressions in any languages, especially for bilingual children.

Obviously, they have limited exposure of one language if both parents speak different ones.
In any occasions, I encourage them to describe without saying
"This " or "That " or even pointing.

With POY, having the image in front of her, she doesn't seem to be obliged to speak on the subject, but help the thinking process and the words started popping up!!

I got this wonderful tool and love to share with lots of people.
